Messy slowcore and mellow post-punk from Antwerp, Belgium.

Grondstof makes noisy slowcore delivered in engaging live shows. Think cranked-up synths and distorted guitars, but also ambient pads and close vocal harmonies.

A black box dictates the rhythm, but human fingers play the strings. Noisy or harmonious? Angry or just disappointed? Electronic or organic? Punk or disco? Why not both?
